East Coast Trip: Washington D.C

Hi again! Last week I took you on a virtual tour throughout NYC. Today I will be showing you Washington DC! There is so much to see, learn, and taste, so let’s get started!

We began by taking a train from NYC to D.C. From there we dropped off our bags at the hotel and visited the Pentagon, Capital Building, and Supreme Court.

The next day we went to Georgetown cupcakes (as seen on TLC) and a pizza place . The pizza place had this cereal-milk soda, which I didn’t care for, but it did taste like cereal milk!

Georgetown is a cute little town/neighborhood. It is fun to just walk around and soak in the historic atmosphere. There are many little shops and restaurants as you are walking by.

After a short visit to Georgetown we toured the Library of Congress. This was by far the most beautiful building I have ever seen! The architecture was so intricate and designed so uniquely!

My favorite part was seeing the library! It’s a book lovers dream! Only certain people were allowed in the building, but they had a balcony for tourists that overlooks the room. It’s huge and looks like it came out of Beauty and the Beast. You really have to see it for yourself, no picture can justify it’s beauty!

You MUST visit the Library of Congress if you ever come to DC. It is totally worth it!!

In next weeks post i’ll take you on a virtual tour through the White House! It was so cool to see such an iconic place in America!
